How points work, and why there are so few

A member gets ten points a day. A regular gets twenty-five. Newcomers get none for their first thirty days.

The number is small on purpose. If you can give a hundred points a day, a point means nothing and the ranking is a popularity contest with extra steps. At ten, you spend them on what you would want to find again.

They do not roll over. Spend them or do not.
